Google Analytics

User Authentication

User accounts and authentication are managed by Clerk. When you create an account or sign in, Clerk processes your authentication information according to their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Composer API Keys and Financial Data

ICDB allows users to provide Composer API keys (from composer.trade, operated by Composer Technologies, Inc.) for the sole purpose of fetching your investment strategy data from Composer's API. We store your Composer API keys in an encrypted format in our database solely for the purpose of making authenticated requests to Composer's API on your behalf. We do not store any other personal financial data, account information, transaction details, or portfolio holdings from Composer. All data fetched from Composer is cached in memory for up to 5 minutes to reduce API requests and respect rate limits, but is not permanently stored on disk by ICDB. This caching benefits both users and the Composer platform by preventing excessive API requests. You may delete your API keys at any time through your account settings, which will immediately stop all data fetching from Composer.

ICDB is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Composer Technologies, Inc. or composer.trade. Any use of Composer's services through ICDB is subject to Composer's own privacy policy and terms of service.

Use of our Services

We do not store the results of user usage of our tools. However, we do store search queries that users perform for analytics purposes and to provide the search history feature. We also store folders that users create to organize investment strategies, as well as user preferences (such as theme and display settings). Requests made to our tools may be stored in anonymized server logs in order to aid in debugging and development. All user data (folders, search history, and preferences) is stored in your user account in our database and is only accessible to you. This data is never shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the service.
